Man injured after shooting at Oldham house

Officers rushed to a house on Woodpark Close in Fitton Hill at around 9.15pm on Thursday (21st February) following reports that shots had been fired.
It’s been confirmed a man in his 30s was inside the house at the time and suffered minor injuries as a result.
Detective Constable Gareth Gwilliam, of Greater Manchester Police’s Oldham district said: “I appreciate this may cause some alarm in the community but I want to assure people that we are doing everything we can to find who is responsible for this attack.
“We are committed to tackling gun crime, but we need the public’s help and I would urge people to report suspicious activity to police.
“If you know anything about this incident, or if you have any information at all even if it seems small or insignificant, please get in touch as it could be vital to this investigation.”
