The Royal Oldham Hospital
Officers have confirmed the details of the incident we first reported earlier this week as security at the Royal Oldham Hospital had been tightened amid a string of incidents involving members of staff being attacked as they walked to their cars.
In this latest incident police were called shortly before 9pm on Friday to a report of a robbery at knifepoint on Westhulme Avenue, Royal Oldham Hospital.
A woman was approached by four men who stole her car, a black Audi Q2, after threatening her with a knife.
The offenders are all described as white, dressed in black and wearing balaclavas. All spoke with Manchester accents. One was carrying a knife.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting incident 2155 of 15/03/19 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
