It was during the early hours of Saturday 23rd February when a woman left Liquid and Envy Nightclub at the same time as two men.

All three of them got into a taxi at around 2.05am.

Sometime between the time the woman left the club on Waterloo Street and returned at around 3.15am, she was raped.

She has been supported by specially trained officers and enquiries are ongoing.

Detectives want to identify the two men in the footage and speak to them in connection with the investigation.

Police Constable Zahid Ilyas from Greater Manchester Police’s Oldham District, said: “It’s really important that we identify these two men and speak to them as soon as possible.

“I appreciate the footage isn’t in colour but I’m hoping someone will be able to recognise them from how they are holding themselves or from how they are walking.

“I’d also like to speak to the taxi driver – do you remember picking up from the club that night? Do you remember taking three passengers?

“Whatever information you have for us, please call the dedicated team urgently.”

Anyone with information should contact police on 0161 856 8919 quoting reference number 399 of 23/02/19 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
