Three people injured after two-car crash in Oldham

Three people have been taken to hospital for treatment after two cars ploughed into each other on an Oldham road during Sunday afternoon.
It was at around 5pm when emergency services were called to Drury Lane in Chadderton following reports of a collision.
When they arrived at the scene they found two vehicles had collided with each other leaving the road blocked in both directions.
Fire crews were required to cut one of those injured out of their car although it’s not yet known the extent of their injuries.
The air ambulance also landed at the scene.
In all two fire engines were required to deal with the incident along with North West Ambulance and Greater Manchester Police.
Three people were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital although their injuries haven’t been released yet either.
Drury Lane had to be closed while emergency services dealt with the incident, although it reopened a short time later.
