Witness appeal after Oldham man left seriously injured in hit and run

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was left seriously injured in a hit and run at the junction of Old Mill Road and Great Ancoats Street in Manchester City Centre.
48-year old Lincoln Barrett, a Contracts Manager from Chadderton was hit from behind by a blue Ford Fiesta while at the traffic lights at the junction near Great Ancoats Street, when riding his motorbike to work on Friday morning (26th April).
His family are now appealing for witnesses to help catch the motorist who fled the scene, leaving Lincoln for dead.
Amber Barrett, Lincoln's daughter said, "He is doing really well but a slow and long recovery ahead, but proud of him, still no news on the driver of the car."
The father of three was taken to hopsital, where he suffered from a serious facial injuries and a badly broken ankle, leading to six hours of surgery.
