Debbie Abrahams slams ‘mindless thugs’ after gift is vandalised

Oldham East and Saddleworth’s MP has taken to social media to brand the person who smashed her constituency gift a ‘mindless thug’ while vowing not the let it throw her off course.
Debbie Abrahams posted a picture of the smashed item, outside her office in Oldham town centre, on her Twitter account on Tuesday morning (30th April), it had been a gift from people in her constituency.
Writing alongside the picture the former Shadow Works and Pensions Secretary said: “If the mindless thugs who vandalised this lovely gift from my constituent think this will stop me saying what I think & doing what I do they will be very disappointed”

Replying to Mrs Abrahams tweet others posted their support while some blamed the era which we’re living through.
“Sadly it’s a sign of the times I expect it will only get worse” wrote Stephen Adamson.
