Collision in Oldham leaves two people injured

A collision between a number of cars in Oldham this morning (Friday 3rd May) has left two people needing treatment from paramedics and the road partially blocked.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Huddersfield Road shortly before 8am following reports of a collision, it’s understood to have involved three cars including a silver Peugeot, a black Volkswagen and a grey Ford.

It happened opposite the Carrion Crow Pub, near to the Asda supermarket

The crash, which happened during the morning rush hour, led to heavy traffic on Huddersfield Road.

North West Ambulance Service confirmed their paramedics had treated two people at the scene for injuries as a result of the collision, however they didn’t take anyone to hospital.
