Theresa May has announced she will step down as Prime Minister.
The PM's voice broke as she said she would quit as leader of the Conservatives on 7 June.
Mrs May said it was a matter of "deep regret" that she had been unable to deliver Brexit.
The Prime Minister has come under renewed pressure this week after she announced plans to bring her Withdrawal Bill back to parliament for a third time - albeit with changes.
Following her statement outside Number Ten, a number of Conservative MPs have praised Mrs May.
The contest to replace the Prime Minister will begin on 10 June.
