Tameside woman charged with murder

One woman from Tameside is set to appear before Magistrates later today (Tuesday 28th May) charged with murder following the death of a man last week.
34-year old Claire McMahon, from Pennine Terrace in Dukinfield, was arrested on Thursday (23rd May) following reports that a man had been stabbed.
When officers arrived at the flat on Pennine Terrace on Peel Street at around 12.15am they discovered the body of 37-year old John Robinson, who’d suffered a stab wound.
Mr Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
McMahon was questioned by detectives and has now been charged with one count of murder, she’s due to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court later today (Tuesday 28th May).
