The pair were part of a group of four who attended a meet with another group on the car park at the junction of Ashton Road and Copster Hill Road, just before 2pm on Monday19th November, last year.
A member of the other group opened fire, hitting one 19-year old man who was with the pair, in the back, legs and buttocks as they ran away across the road.
The pair were jailed for a total of 21 weeks but were released after the hearing, having spent 6 months in prison prior to appearing at crown court.
