Lesley Smithson has served 20 years at the Elk Mill Restaurant
Lesley Smithson from Oldham has received a long service award at the McDonald’s in Royton for her 20 years of outstanding service to the restaurant.
Lesley, who has Down’s syndrome, works front of house as a Customer Care Assistant and has been praised for her punctuality and customer service skills.
Lesley started at the restaurant in 1999 as a Customer Care Assistant and now 20 years on, is a very popular employee amongst staff and customers.
Local franchisee Darren Price, who owns and operates the two restaurants in Oldham, said, “I would like to thank Lesley for her amazing service and commitment to the Elk Mill Retail Park restaurant.
Lesley is very popular with both members of staff and customers and is huge part of the history of the restaurant. Congratulations Lesley on your amazing achievement”.
