Torrential showers caused disruption today
Torrential rain and high winds brought chaos across Oldham and beyond today.
Saddleworth was particularly badly affected.
Traffic was reduced to a crawl across many villages with culverts unable to cope with the downpour, causing localised flooding.
Road problems were reported in Denshaw and drivers were urged to use dipped headlights and keep their distance.
A yellow weather warning remains in place, with downpours expected both tonight and into Sunday. Forecasters are also warning of strong winds.
