Oldham has come sixth, in a poll of most expensive car insurance
Oldham has been ranked as the sixth most expensive place to insure your car, in the country, according to a new survey.
The team at comparethemarket.com have delved into their own data, to reveal the cheapest (and most expensive) places in the UK to run a car,.
They looked at insurance costs, mileage, fuel and other factors.
They also analysed customer data and found out, that while those in bigger cities generally pay more for insurance, a higher annual mileage means that those in rural areas spend far more on fuel (and overall).
