Two charged with Chadderton thefts

There had been reports of several thefts in the Chadderton area
A man and woman from Oldham have been charged with a number of theft offences.
48 year old Robert Slicker, of Cheltenham Street Oldham, was charged with three counts of theft
Rita O’Connor, aged 52 also of Cheltenham Street was charged with two counts of theft.
Between Wednesday 16 October 2019 and Thursday 17 October 2019, police received reports of several thefts in the Chadderton area. This included theft of two charity tins and a mobile phone.
Both were remanded and appeared at Tameside Magistrates Court on Saturday 26 October 2019. They were bailed to reappear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates on Wednesday 30 October 2019.
