A new song's been released by a woman who works in Oldham, who has been named one of the top 21 emerging musicians in the UK.

Olivia Deane, who's 23, from Milnrow, in Rochdale, could be in the running for a record contract with her song Beautiful You.

The competition is being run by I Saw it First - a clothing company.

Olivia told Revolution News, what her song was about:"This is for anyone who has ever been bullied or put down by another person.

"What you have to realise is that it might be more about what the other person is going through and so you shouldn't take it personally. "

Olivia works as a finance assistant at Madhlo in Oldham. She says she's got lots of songs that have a personal or heartfelt message for people.  She's also been writing and singing since she was a child.

If Olivia wins the competition, she gets £25,000 towards a recording contract and the chance to release her own album.

"It would be a dream come true if I managed to win the final. There are so many songs that I would like to share with people."

Taylor Swift is who Olivia has modelled herself on and she aspires to be like her in future.

"I think Taylor's amazing and she inspirational, being named artist of the decade."
