A local mum is launching a new network for women across the North West, to help with all aspects of motherhood.

Chloe Pimlott, from Middleton, is starting the 'Northern Goddess Business Network' to connect and help women in Oldham, Rochdale, Moston, Greater Manchester and eventually the North West.

She spoke first to The Chronicle and said: "There's a famous phrase - 'It takes a village to raise a child'.

"Well I consider the women in this network my village.

"This is a great and unique way to unite women and really help them thorugh what can be the challenging and difficult time of pregnancy and beyond."

Chloe used to be a dancer but struggled after the birth of her daughter.

One of the women suggested she set up a pregnancy yoga businesses, which has gone from strength to strength.

From that the idea to set up a network to help women was born.

The Northern Goddess Business Network consists of seven female entrepreneurs, who are all mums, who say they want to make a difference.

They've launched their own businesses after their own experiences during pregnancy, motherhood and infertility treatments, among other experiences.

Chloe says: " We can help with mental health issues, physical issues and remind people that there is life after having a baby and sometimes it takes you in an unexpected but wonderful direction."

They're hosting a free taster session for women to attend on Wednesday 15th of January, at St Matthew’s Church in Chadderton.  It runs between 7pm and 8.30pm.

There will also be a free goodie bag, for anyone attending.
