Legendary Oldham DJ will sell hundreds of pieces of memorabilia by auction

Oldham-born Tony Prince or 'The Royal Ruler ' on Radio Caroline and Radio Luxembourg is auctioning off memorabilia including some Beatles classics.

The DJ knew many great singers and bands aswell as creating the worldwide DMC company based in New York for two years.

Among Tony Prince's memorabilia is the most collectable and important record in the World, the promotional copy of the Beatles first release ‘Love Me Do’- which was first aired on Radio Luxembourg.

This is looking to auction at between £15,000 and £20,000.

Others include, Elvis Presley’s owned RCA transistor radio, The Beatles “From Me To You” demo disc signed by Paul McCartney and the Hard Rock Cafe Veggie Menu with handwritten signatures of Paul and Linda McCartney, Ringo Starr, Barbara Bach, Jim Capaldi, Priscilla Presley, Rutger Hauer, Mary McCartney, James McCartney, Mark Appleton and more.

The auction is to raise funds and support United DJs radio station which is heard worldwide.
