Section of a major road in Oldham is closed for a week

Broadway Northbound
A major road in Oldham will be closed for a week from Middleton Road to the A627 Elk Mill roundabout.
The northbound carriageway of the A663 Broadway will be shut until next Wednesday (January 22nd).
It comes as emergency work to repair a collapsed sewer is carried out by United Utilities.
Oldham Council have taken to twitter to share the information:
.@unitedutilities are making urgent sewer repairs on Broadway (A663) near Chad Prep School from today. Diversions via (➡️Oldham) via Midd’ Rd, Roch’ Rd, Old' Rd & B'way, R’ton. Midd' Rd traffic (➡️B’way) diverted via Midd' Rd, Haigh Lane, Chad' Hall Rd and Burnley Lane. pic.twitter.com/VqJXwQWo2O

It's understood there's been delays of up to 45 minutes.
