Police are appealing for information after a carjacking
Police are appealing for more information after the robbery of a vehicle on Huddersfield Road in Oldham.
At around 7.30pm on Tuesday 28 January 2020 two men approached a woman who had just stepped out of a White BMW and forced her to the ground.
The men took the woman’s keys and got into the vehicle and drove off towards Uppermill.
The woman suffered minor injuries that did not require hospital treatment.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
Police Constable Mohammad Ali of the Oldham district said: “This was a violent incident which has left an innocent woman injured and clearly traumatised by the robbery.
“We are asking anyone who has dash-cam footage or CCTV of the incident on Huddersfield Road on Tuesday 28 January to contact police as soon as possible.
"Any information could be invaluable and greatly assist with our enquiries.
“I would also ask anyone who was on Huddersfield Road or Uppermill at the time of the incident and saw anything usual or suspicious, no matter how small, to contact police as soon as possible.”
