Snow hits Saddleworth
This is the scene today in Saddleworth.
Oldham’s head of highways Craig Dale says :”Fortunately we have been spared the worst of any overnight snowfall – we are in a colder airstream now and so snow showers will be on and off all day with some possible accumulations down to 100m.
“As you can see snow is now falling over the Pennine routes and we are currently continuing to treat as necessary.”
