Man charged after stabbing incident in Oldham

A man has been charged after woman was taken to hospital with stab injuries in Oldham.
Stephen Turnock, 40, of Clyde Street, Oldham has been charged with two section 18 assaults and two counts of criminal damage following an incident on Sunday.
He has been remanded into custody and will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today (18 May).
Police were called around 8.40am by ambulance staff on Sunday 16 May 2021 to an address on Clyde Street in Watersheddings.
A 40-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening stab injuries.
