A wall of flames at roadside fire

The A62 Huddersfield Road was closed for a time after a road sweeper caught fire early yesterday (Sunday).
A spokesperson for GMFRS said: “At approximately 6.55am on Sunday, 10th October, two fire engines from Chadderton and Mossley stations attended an incident on Huddersfield Road, Oldham.
“The fire involved a road sweeper on a roadway.
"Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used three hose reels to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for around three hours.”
There were no reports of any injuries.
