Dancing and singing was the order of the day at Burnley Brow Community School in Chadderton as a cool music festival - 'BB Fest' - took place today (Friday).
Staff hired a stage and sound system from New Image in Oldham and managed to attract some incredible performers who gave up their time to perform for free.
Thos performers included Babalola Jr, Chloe Jones, Natalia Jacques, Conduit, Gabriel, and also Ray Bubbles doing bubble art.
Amy Mackie’s Dance Studio also ran a Zumba session to get the children moving!
School teacher and Music Coordinator Maria Lucas told the Chronicle: "This was the biggest event to ever happen at our school.
"It was a huge success.
"We organised ‘BB Fest’ so that our children could experience a wide range of high quality live music.
"We had a range of acts from soul singers to rappers.
"It was a fantastic way to celebrate a year of music and friendship, but with a festival vibe.
"The children and staff thoroughly enjoyed the event."
