Lees Road crash - man suffers neck injuries

A man has suffered minor neck injuries following a collision between two vehicles on Lees Road in Oldham this morning (Monday).
Shortly after 10am, police officers and Oldham fire services were called to attend the crash on Lees Road.
The collision happened just yards away from Oldham fire station.
Fortunately, there have been no major injuries reported although one driver, a man in his 50s, has suffered minor neck injuries.
A Great Manchester Police spokesperson said: "At around 10:10am this morning (22 August 2022), officers were called to reports of a two vehicle RTC on Lees Road in Oldham.
“Fire are attending to help clear debris from the road and one driver - a man in his 50s - is reported to have suffered minor neck injuries.
"No other injuries are reported at this time.
"The injured man has been taken to hospital as a precaution."
Enquiries are ongoing to establish what happened.
