Police salute public response as Oldham robbers prepare for court appearance

Mahmood and Ali will appear at Tameside Magistrates Court today
Police have charged two males in connection with a personal robbery in Oldham on Tuesday, December 6.
Adam Mahmood (aged 19) of Yorkdale Road in Oldham and Cameron Ali (aged 18) of Lees Road in Oldham, have been charged with robbery and fraud.
They’ve been remanded into custody to appear at Tameside Magistrates Court today (Friday).
Detective Sergeant Matt Adshead, of Oldham’s Neighbourhood Crime Team, said: “I’d like to say a huge thank you to members of the public who have called us with information on this incident.
"This information proved vital and has ultimately led to the arrest and charge of these two individuals.”
