Simply amazing - Rainbow Colour Run helps highlight the work of Pathways to Opportunities

Date published: 05 June 2023

Oldham-based Pathways to Opportunities staged its first Rainbow Colour Run, and in turn raised lots of money on what proved to be an 'amazing' day.

The spectacular fun day was held at Melrose playing fields in Chadderton, helped along by locally-based entertainer, Scott Cooper.

Zumba Instructor Siobhan Batchelor was also on hand to start the event off with a hugely popular warm-up session.

Everyone involved then started the race and had lots of fun with the coloured powder.

This was a very inclusive event for all disabilities, and most of all, lots of fun!

Organisers don't have a total amount of cash raised yet as they are still collecting the sponsor money.

Pathways to Opportunities, which is based in Chadderton, provide Care at Home, community, day service and respite support, working alongside individuals, their families and any involved professionals.

They pride themselves on a commitment to person-centred care, flexibility, high standards and bespoke packages of support.

They have a well-trained and compassionate staff team, who deliver care in line with individuals’ care plans and risk assessments, ensuring they strive for the best possibly outcome for individuals at every given opportunity.

They specialise in supporting individuals with complex needs, and are also able to offer support to individuals who require support to look after their children.

They are a values-driven company and aim for everyone they support to live happy, healthy, inclusive and dignified lives.
