Greenacres Primary Academy's recent Ofsted inspection.

Greenacres Primary Academy was judged to be strong across all areas of the inspection, with inspectors recognising the high-quality education, care and support provided to pupils. They are particularly proud that their provision for Personal Development was graded as 'Exceptional', a very rare accolade that reflects the breadth of opportunities, experiences and support available to our pupils.

This judgement recognises their commitment to ensuring that children thrive not only academically, but also socially, emotionally and personally. Through leadership opportunities, enrichment experiences, community involvement, wellbeing support and their inclusive ethos, they strive to develop confident, compassionate and successful young people.

Headteacher Katie Thornton said:

"We are incredibly proud of this report and what it says about our school community. The outcome reflects the dedication of our staff, the enthusiasm of our pupils, the support of our families and the commitment of our governors and everyone at South Pennine Academies Trust. We are especially delighted that our Personal Development provision has been recognised as Exceptional. This reflects our belief that education is about far more than academic achievement and that every child deserves the opportunity to flourish in all aspects of their development."

The report is a testament to the hard work of pupils, staff, governors and families and reinforces the school's commitment to providing the very best educational experience for the children of Greenacres and the wider Oldham community.
