Hulme Grammar School has announced the renaming of its school library, in tribute to the esteemed former Headmistress, Miss Winfield.
Between 1975 and 1985, Miss Winfield led the Hulme Grammar School for Girls, with former students holding fond memories of her leadership.
In recognition of her impact on the school and its community, a special ceremony will be held on June 26, in which “The Winfield Library” will be unveiled.
Miss Winfield will be in attendance at the ceremony, alongside honoured guests, including the Mayor of Oldham.
Following the ceremony, guests are invited to enjoy an afternoon tea with Miss Winfield, providing an opportunity for reflection and celebration.
Former pupils of Miss Winfield are warmly encouraged to register their details to attend this memorable occasion.
