A pretty Saddleworth village proved the Christmas flame still burns when the community turned out for a traditional torchlit procession.
Dozens of men, women and children thronged Dobcross on a parade last night from the brass band club to Churchfields where, accompanied by Dobcross Youth Band, they sang carols.
