OMC Motor Group celebrates official opening of new state-of-the-art Kia showroom

OMC Kia marked the official opening of its brand-new, state-of-the-art showroom in Oldham, celebrating a major milestone in the company’s 118-year history.
The new £2.6 million three-storey dealership was officially opened by Paul Philpott, President and CEO of Kia UK, in front of invited guests including Jim McMahon MP, the Mayor of Oldham, Cllr Eddie Moores, and local dignitaries.
Founded in Oldham in the 1907, OMC Motor Group remains a proud family-run business, with Robin and Jonathan Eglin leading the company and joined at the opening by the next generation of the Eglin family.
The opening event brought together staff, customers, partners, and members of the community to celebrate the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
“We are incredibly proud of what has been achieved here,” said Jonathan Eglin, Director of OMC Motor Group.
“This new showroom represents not just a significant investment in the local area, but also our continued commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.”
The new Kia showroom offers a modern, customer-focused environment showcasing the full range of Kia vehicles – including the latest electric and hybrid models – and includes expanded service facilities and enhanced customer amenities.
OMC expressed gratitude to all those involved in the project, and to its customers and team members for their continued support throughout the build.
The showroom will welcome customers in the coming weeks, with updates to be shared via OMC’s website and social media channels.
