CAMRA’s Regional Director, Ralph Warrington, presenting the two awards to a very proud Adele Taylor
There were smiles all round as Dobcross Band Club celebrated another double success in the local and regional CAMRA real ale awards.
Members of the Rochdale, Oldham and Bury branch were joined by their counterparts from the Greater Manchester regional branch to celebrate the club's success.
The two awards, for Best Club in Rochdale, Oldham and Bury, and the prestigious Best Club in Greater Manchester, were presented by Greater Manchester CAMRA regional director, Ralph Warrington.
He praised the club for its warm welcome and, of course, the quality and range of the real ales.
Club steward Adele Taylor accepted the awards, saying how proud she was to receive the recognition for her and her teams efforts throughout the year.
Meanwhile, former steward John Holden is still very much involved in the background, playing a big part in maintaining the high quality of the beers on offer.
