Strange(r) Things are happening here!
The Diggle Spooky Trail continues this half term and runs until Sunday (November 2).
There are 17 spooky scarecrows dotted around the village and all displaying a hidden word to make a Halloween rhyme.
Trail sheets are priced at just £3 each, making excellent value for money activity.
Sheets can be purchased here, then collected at any of the participating vendors: The Gate Inn, Diggle Lock, The Loading Bay, Grandpa Greene's and The Diggle Hotel.
Free parking is available at Saddleworth School and there's some fantastic businesses open all week serving food, snacks and drinks.
When the trail is complete you can return your sheet to any of the vendors to collect a sweet prize.
This year organisers have been facilitating a handover of the event as we say goodbye to the trail's main organiser, Tracy Buckley, who has stepped down as PTA Chair now her children have left primary school.
The Friends of Diggle School have been working closely with the community to ensure the Scarecrow Trails remain a success, bringing in vital funds for the school.
