Visiting Angels Manchester East Raises £550 for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice
A multi-award-winning home care company in Oldham has raised £550 for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice following a raffle supported by staff, clients, and members of the local community.
Visiting Angels Manchester East, based on Featherstall Road at Prospect House, organised the fundraiser after the hospice provided compassionate end-of-life care to two of the company’s clients last year.
The cheque was recently delivered by Roxie, alongside team member Kim, who visited the hospice to present the donation to Jill and her colleagues. Business owners Roxie and Badar said the experience highlighted the vital role hospice services play in supporting families during some of the most difficult times of their lives.
Roxie said: “Seeing the care, dignity, and compassion shown to our clients and their families at Dr Kershaw’s truly stayed with us. Donations like these are vital in helping such an incredible hospice continue supporting people when they need it most.”
The company added that, alongside delivering high-quality, person-centred home care that helps people remain safe and independent in their own homes, giving back to the community is central to its values.
Visiting Angels Manchester East supports individuals and families across Oldham and surrounding areas.
