Alan, a partner and head of employment at Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers, is based in Uppermill.
He previously held Leading Partner status in the legal directory for several years.

Pearson’s employment team has also retained rankings in two categories, employment and employment for employee and union firms.
Alan said: “This is a huge milestone in my career, and one I am extremely proud of. I have long valued the recognition I have received through The Legal 500, and achieving Hall of Fame status is a particularly special moment for me.”
He thanked his colleagues for their support.
“I am very proud to share this achievement with Pearson Solicitors and my colleagues. I am grateful for the support and encouragement I have received throughout my career, and I look forward to continuing to provide the highest standard of advice and representation to my clients.”
Pearson director Joanne Ormston said the recognition was an achievement for both Alan and the firm.
“We are incredibly proud to see Alan recognised in this way. His commitment to his clients and to the profession is exceptional, and this recognition is thoroughly deserved.”
Alan was also named a Preeminent Employment Lawyer for employee and union representation in Manchester in the 2026 edition of Doyle’s Guide.
