Seven-year-old Thai boxing prospect Adam Parry won his first official bout in some style.
The talented young fighter - who trains under the tutelage of Steve Donnelly at the Isaan Gym in Oldham - took his first major challenge at just two days’ notice, but that didn’t faze him.
Featuring on the 2Brothers ‘Stand ya ground’ six-bout show in Birkenhead, Royton lad Adam roared to a well-deserved points victory.
Isaan Gym Head Coach Donnelly said: “I was very proud of Adam.
“It was a great performance, considering he only took the fight on two days notice.
“It’s been great preparation for his next fight at the Yokkoa Open in Barnsley on April 14.”
