Chadderton boss David Fish has warned his players not to show any complacency during the final half-dozen games in the 2017/18 Hallmark Security League First Division campaign.

Chaddy, who drew 3-3 at home against Alsager Town last night (Thursday), are now in a relatively comfortable 18th place in the table, seven points clear of Nelson in the second of two relegation places.

However, with 18 points still up for grabs ahead of tomorrow's home clash against fellow mid-table side Carlisle City, Fish won't accept anything other than 100-per-cent effort from his players.

The Chaddy gaffer said: "As we head into the final six games of the season with nothing to play for, the risk is that we could allow the season to fizzle out.

"I've made it clear to the players that as a management team we won't accept that.

"I want to take maximum points from every game and I expect the same from my players.

"We play a lot of teams that are still in the play-off hunt and that gives my players the opportunity to show that they belong at that level.

"It's a great chance to build experience, resilience and set ourselves up to be successful next season."

Chaddy threw away a 3-0 interval lead against Alsager last night.

The three Jacks - Ward, Turnbull and O'Leary - saw Chaddy in cruise control at the break, but by the midway point in the second period the visitors had drawn level through Taylor Attrell, Paul Taylor and Alex Morris.

MOSSLEY play their penultimate fixture of the Evo-Stik League North season tomorrow when they host promotion-chasing Tameside rivals Hyde United.

The Lilywhites will head into their derby clash in high spirits after they won 1-0 at Radcliffe Borough on Tuesday.

Mike Fish grabbed the winning goal in the first half.

Mossley - who are comfortably positioned in 14th place in the table - travel to Tadcaster Albion for their final game of the season tomorrow week.
