Whether you’re looking for family fun or ready to take to the pitch yourself, Springhead Cricket Club’s fun day is set to have something for everyone.

The event begins at 1pm on Saturday (August 11), but make sure to register before 12:30 to join one of the mixed teams for the rounders competition starting at 1.

If you’ve been dying to follow in England’s footsteps last Saturday, then sign up by 3pm for the T20 cricket competition starting at 4pm.

Those watching from the side lines can enjoy music and entertainment as well as a raffle and fundraisers.

The food and soft drinks on offer won’t go amiss – not to mention the licensed draught bar open until late.

For the younger ones, there will be a bouncy castle, biggest six competition, and face painting.

The event will be great preparation for Sunday’s first-team match against Bamford Fieldhouse – and a celebration of the team’s big win last Saturday.

The event will be held at Mayfield Avenue, Springhead, OL4 4SH, and everyone is welcome.
