Phoenix from the flames!

Kingsway Phoenix will compete in the Oldham & Rochdale Badminton League

The newly-renamed Kingsway Phoenix team are gearing up for another exciting Oldham & Rochdale Badminton League campaign.

Teams will compete in the Second and Third Divisions of the league, now at the new base at Kingsway Park High School.

Phoenix field members from the old club - Tara - and some new ones.

Players will need time to get adjusted, but coaches hope to make a reasonable showing in the League and it will not be for the want of trying.

Phoenix are still looking for new members to join the club.

Go along as a guest and it only costs £5, which includes all court costs, feather shuttles and provides good exercise.

Unfortunatly Phoenix can not take beginners at the moment due to a shortage of courts, but that situation may change in the future.

Age is from 16 to no limits so if you want to go that next step up from plastic shuttles, or are not happy with your current club, get in touch via email at: philip-anne@ntlworld.com
