They were league champions with 55 points, from Dukinfield (45), Brookdale (43), Ashton (36), Houldsworth (33) and Oldham (27), and had Chris Exton as the top individual.
They then qualified for the Cup Final played against Houldsworth at Dukinfield and were again the winners.
The final event was for the President’s Bowl played at Ashton and were led in to a winning 143 points by Paul Laing, who had the best individual score of the day, Dave Mills, Chris Exton and Phil Lord to complete a magnificent treble for their club which has only been achieved twice before in the history of the league.
The Rabbits League enjoyed more success in the Annual Cross Country Cup played over two legs against HHDRGA Yorkshire League played at Outlane and Oldham, where they won both ties to take the Cup by 8-4.
