Date published: 19 February 2018
Try out sailing and yachting at Dovestones Reservoir
Anyone thinking of taking to the water in 2018 should look no further than Dovestone Sailing Club.
The club has a series of dates this Spring where experienced instructors will show novice sailors the ropes.
Before you know it you will be on your way to becoming an expert.
The club is a registered Royal Yachting Association (RYA) training centre.
All boats are provided by the club - you’ll only need waterproofs.
This years dates are:
April 28/29 - RYA Level 1/2 course.
May 13 - Push the Boat Out. This is effectively an open day, but any visitor wanting to sail should contact the club first to ensure a place is available. There is no charge.
May 19/20 - RYA Dinghy Sailing Level 1.
June 16/17 - RYA Dinghy Sailing Level 2.
To book onto a course or for the Push the Boat Out day, contact Andy Goddard at: andyg@mailprintsolutions.uk.
