On Friday 27th March, Oldham Mayor, Ginny Alexander, will be holding a Pizza and Prosecco Night in aid of the Mayor’s Appeal Fund.

The evening will be hosted by local pizza and catering equipment supplier, LLK, in their bistro style demonstration kitchen in Hathershaw.

LLK’s Italian development chef, Fabio Aurelio, will be serving freshly stone baked pizzas with a variety of toppings suitable for vegans, vegetarians and meat lovers while other members of team LLK will be topping up glasses with prosecco and soft drinks.

Attendees can mingle over their slices and drinks to the sounds of the 70s from 7pm till late. There will also be a raffle where prizes donated by local businesses can be won by ticket holders.

The evening hopes to raise lots of funds in aid of very worthy local charities including Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, the Action Oldham Fund, Pennine Pen Animal Rescue, MAHDLO among others.

The Mayor would like to share this personal message; “It is with great excitement that I extend the invitation to our Pizza and Prosecco night to all the good people I serve in the borough of Oldham.

"Not only will this be a fantastic night of fun, friends and good food for all who attend, but it will also be hugely beneficial for those who depend on the good work of my chosen charities. I look forward to seeing the wonderful people of Oldham there!”

The tickets will cost £10 each and can be paid for on the door. Contact the Mayor’s Office at ginny.alexander@oldham.gov.uk to book your places.
