Morrisons' community sports day event helps raise £400

Happy times at the Brookdale View Care Home fund-raiser

A team of Morrisons Failsworth colleagues battled it out against a team of care workers in a sports day style fund-raising event at the Brookdale View Care Home in Newton Heath.

LIsa Ogunba, community champion at Morrisons Failsworth, and events co-ordinator Dylan Marshall of Brookdale View organised the event with the help of care home manager Karen Wolstemhome, and in total raised over £400.

Volunteers were delighted when the Right Worshipful the Lord Mayor of the City of Manchester paid a visit to the event.
