Eoin Doyle scored Oldham's second goal
Oldham hearts were broken after a last minute MK Dons equaliser denied them a deserved win at Stadium MK.
Whilst the Oldham players and supporters were understandably disappointed, the point extends Latics' unbeaten run under new manager Richie Wellens to six games.
Craig Davies opened the scoring for Latics before Alex Gilbey equalised for MK Dons.
Latics had opened up a two goal lead by half time with a goal from Eoin Doyle and an MK Dons own goal.
Ed Upson scored from a free kick to peg Latics lead back to one goal early in the second half but a quick reply from Peter Clarke restored the Oldham two goal advantage.
Ten minutes from time, an Aidan Nesbitt goal gave MK Dons hope of salvaging a point.
In the last minute of the game, a shot by Seager hit the crossbar and Upson followed up to score his second from close range and ensure MK Dons snatched an unlikely point.
