Fan treat as Boundary Park throws open its doors

Date published: 27 July 2018

Athletic will stage a Boundary Park open day on Tuesday (July 31) for supporters to head down and watch a live training session ahead of the new season.

Manager Frankie Bunn will be putting his final preparations together on the pitch and you will have the chance to come and watch.

With children off school and the season opener against MK Dons just around the corner, the open day will provide a great chance to see Bunn’s side prepare for the new campaign.

The North Stand will be open from 10am, with training set to start at 10:30am.

The session is expected to last 75-90 minutes and players will be on hand afterwards to sign autographs and pose for pictures.

On the day, there will be activities for young supporters as well as refreshments available in the North Stand kiosks.

Bunn said: “We’re really looking forward to the new season and we want our supporters to be right behind us.

“This club means a lot to myself and Andy Rhodes and we know it means a lot to the supporters as well.

“We’d like to give fans the opportunity to see how we work and how focused the side are ahead of the League Two campaign."

The ticket office will also be open between 9am and 5pm for supporters to take advantage of the new matchday ticket prices which have been reduced for the 2018/19 season.
