The 21-year old has signed, on-loan, until the end of the season.
The 6ft 2inch left back has come through the academy at the City Ground and has made two appearances for Forest’s first team prior to heading out on loan.
In 2016 Iacovitti made a loan move to Mansfield Town where he pulled on the Stags’ shirt eight times.
From there he moved on loan to Forest Green Rovers during the 2017-2018 season where he featured in 14 games, scoring one goal.
Speaking to Revolution News after sealing the move to Oldham Athletic, the former Scottish youth international said: ““I’m really excited to be here, the atmosphere around is the place is a friendly one and I think I’ll enjoy my football here.” He said.
“The club aren’t that far from the playoff places, so hopefully as a team we can go on a run that gets us into the top seven.”
