Latics will host Northampton Town in Sky Bet League Two on Saturday at 3pm.
It comes after the team saw a draw against Port Vale at Boundary park last week (Saturday 20th October) in a game that saw five yellow cards.
Manager Dino Maamria said, "It was a relativley decent weekend with a draw against Port Vale.
"The team had physical and emotional strength-we finished the game strong against Port Vale and I thought we could have won it in the last ten minutes.
"It's all going in the right direction, like I say it's a process."
Peter Wright will be the official in charge of the team's only home game in Novemeber this weekend.
Maamria added, "Northampton Town are one of the best squads in league two, we've got to make sure we expose their weaknesses.
We're looking forward to it. "
