Latics return with Woking trip

Latics travel to Woking tonight
Following the postponement of Saturday's trip to Boreham Wood, Latics are back in action tonight (Tuesday) as they make the long trip to London to take on Woking.
John Sheridan's men will be desperate to bounce back from a home defeat by high-flying Chesterfield last time out.
Young striker Joe McGlynn could make his debut at the Kingfield Sports Ground tonight.
McGlynn has signed for Latics on loan from Burnley.
The 19-year-old striker joins on a deal until October 9.
Sheridan had high praise for the youngster, and thinks he’ll do well during his time at Boundary Park.
“Joe is a player we’ve had interest in for a while and we’re pleased to finally get this deal over the line," said the Latics boss
“He comes from Burnley’s academy who’ve always produced a great calibre of player, and we think he’ll do well for us.”
McGlynn was part of the side that made it to the quarter-final of the FA Youth Cup in 2019/20, before being beaten by Manchester City Under-18s.
The following season he was a regular in the Clarets’ U23s and U18s sides, scoring four goals in 11 matches for the under 18s.
McGlynn, who’s a childhood friend of young Latic Will Sutton, became a regular for the under 23s in Premier League 2 last season, scoring five goals in 21 appearances, in addition to making the first-team bench on a handful of occasions.
