Home draw for Latics in FA Cup qualifying round
Date published: 03 October 2022

Latics have been drawn at home against either Chester or Hanley Town in the FA Cup
Latics' Emirates FA Cup campaign will begin with a home fixture against either Chester or Hanley Town.
David Unsworth's team must this season begin their Cup tilt in the fourth qualifying round following relegation from the EFL last season.
Victory would take Latics into the first round proper in November.
Chester are currently halfway down the National League North table, while Hanley ply their trade in the Northern Premier League Division One West.
Hanley shocked hosts Chester by grabbing a draw in their third qualifying round clash on Saturday.
The replay takes place tomorrow night (Tuesday) at Hanley's Potteries Park stadium.
The fourth qualifying round tie is scheduled for the weekend of Saturday, October 15.
