Sydie Peck is staying with Latics for another month

Sydie Peck's loan deal from Sheffield United has been extended by a further month.

The attacking midfielder has impressed since joining Latics two months ago, after which he made his debut at Boundary Park against Barnet.

Playing a part in all league games since his arrival, the 18-year-old has caught the eye with his performances in the space behind the main striker, helping to create a number of chances in recent games.

He assisted Ben Tollitt's superb strike against Boreham Wood last month.
