Striker Nuttall joins Alty on season-long loan deal

Latics striker Joe Nuttall has joined Altrincham on a season-long loan.

The 27-year-old, who joined Latics in December 2022, will spend the 2024/25 campaign at Moss Lane.

It is Nuttall’s second loan in recent months, having spent the second part of last season with Cheltenham, scoring twice in 13 games.

He has played 36 times since joining Latics, scoring eight goals.

That move follows news last week that midfielder Mark Shelton had left Latics by mutual consent.

The 27-year-old joined Latics in January 2023, making 35 league appearances, scoring two goals.
